Honestly im a little scared typing this. My scan is coming up next week and i keep reading scary stories online. Just wanted to understand what reasons can cause this so early. Will talk to my gynac for sure but my mind wont stop.
In very early weeks the heartbeat may not be visible yet and they often repeat the scan in a week. There can be other reasons too, but only your doctor can tell after proper checks. Please go back to your gynac, dont carry this worry alone.
Beta, this is something only the doctor can answer with a repeat scan. Try not to assume the worst yet. Stay close to your gynac and take care of yourself.
I totally understand how frightening these words feel right now. Sometimes it is just early timing, so please hold on to hope until the doctor confirms with another scan. Whatever happens, you are not alone in this.
I have been through this and I know how scary and heartbreaking it feels. Sometimes very early it is just too soon to detect the heartbeat and a repeat scan shows it, other times it is sadly a loss.
