Everyone in my family keeps saying i have that pregnancy glow on my face now in 2nd tri, even my skin feels different. Im just curious what actually causes it, is it hormones or blood or something? not complaining haha just want to understand.
My doc said its mostly the hormones plus extra blood flow in pregnancy, that gives that flushed glowy look. Oil glands also get active so skin looks dewy. Not everyone gets it though, dont feel bad if u dont.
Glow? Yaar I got the opposite, full pimples and oily face haha. Everyone is different, some shine like a bulb some of us just sweat and survive. Both totally normal.
My amma always said its the happiness and the new life inside that shows on face. Doctor explained it as blood circulation and hormones. I think its bit of both honestly, enjoy it while it lasts.
