Im throwing up almost every morning these days and sometimes after eating too, im around 7 weeks. Cant even keep water down some days. Why does this happen and till when does it usually last?
It is just the hormones doing their work to keep the baby safe. Try having some cold coconut water or lemon water to feel better. I hope your nausea passes very soon, please take proper rest.
With my PCOS history, my hormones were already all over the place, and pregnancy hormones made my morning sickness even worse. It's very common, but please make sure you are at least keeping some water down. Take light meals and stay in touch with your doctor.
A bit of ginger tea or smelling fresh lemons can help a lot with normal morning sickness. But if you are vomiting constantly and can't even digest water, please don't wait. You must contact your gynac immediately to get a safe pregnancy-safe pill.
It is caused by the sudden rush of pregnancy hormones in your system. To manage it, don't keep your stomach empty, eat small portions every 2 hours. Keep dry cream crackers near your bed and chew on them before waking up, it really works!
Vomiting is mostly due to early pregnancy hormones, but if you can't keep any liquids down, go to the doctor immediately. Don't avoid it to save money, because severe dehydration might lead to IV fluids at the hospital, which costs much more than a simple anti-vomiting tablet.
While mild vomiting is very standard, severe vomiting can quickly lead to dehydration, which is not safe for the baby. Please do not try too many home remedies if it's constant. I always recommend checking with your gynac first to see if you need safe medication.
It's mostly because of the sudden surge in hormones like hCG and estrogen. Try having a small piece of ginger or some lemon candy to settle your stomach. It usually gets much better after the first trimester, so hang in there!
Don't worry dear, it's just your body's way of adjusting to the baby, mostly triggered by early hormones. Try to eat dry biscuits or toast right before you get out of bed in the morning. Keep yourself hydrated with small sips of water throughout the day.
