I noticed a tiny bit of spotting today and my period is not due for another week. it wasnt much but the color confused me. i want to know what normal early pregnancy spotting usually looks like so i can compare. planning to watch it closely.
Implantation spotting is usually light pink or brownish, much lighter than a period and just a little. That's the common harmless kind. But bright red or heavy bleeding is different, that one you must get checked immediately.
Light pink or brown spotting is often okay, but I'll be honest, when I had red bleeding it turned out to need attention. So please dont just judge by colour, if there's anything more than tiny spotting or any pain, call your gynac.
Mine was a light pinkish brown and so little I almost missed it. I felt nervous thinking my period came early, but it was actually implantation. The colour was way faded compared to normal periods.
I know how scary any spotting feels, I've been there. Pinkish brown and very light is usually the harmless kind. But after what I went through, I always say dont sit on it, just call your doctor and let them reassure you.
