What could be the cause of missing periods besides pregnancy?
My periods are late by almost 2 weeks but the test came negative. Now im confused na, if not pregnancy then what else can cause this? A bit of tension honestly.
According to my health tracker app, things like low body weight, high stress, or starting new exercises can delay ovulation. If it happens consistently, tracking your cycle with an app and sharing the data with your doctor is very helpful.
Maybe your ovaries are just taking a mini-vacation! Jokes aside, PCOS or thyroid are very common culprits behind missing periods. Get your blood work done to know what's happening inside.
I completely understand how frustrating it is when your period is late but the tests are negative. It can be due to hormonal imbalances or even mental stress. Please be gentle with yourself and give your body some rest.
For me, thyroid imbalance was the main reason my periods used to go missing. After my C-section, my doctor made sure my hormones were balanced. It is best to get a thyroid panel test done if it keeps happening.
Actually, before I got pregnant, I used to miss periods because of sudden weight changes. Did any of you also have irregular cycles before conceiving? It is so confusing to track.
It could be PCOS, thyroid issues, extreme stress, or rapid weight fluctuations. If your pregnancy tests are negative and your period is delayed by over 2 weeks, go see a gynecologist to get a simple ultrasound done.
Stress is a major reason why periods get delayed. Sudden lifestyle changes or even travel can affect your cycle. Just stay positive, eat healthy, and let your body settle down.
Honestly, stress and lack of sleep can make your period vanish into thin air! Now that I have a newborn, my hormones are all over the place anyway. If you aren't pregnant, it's probably just stress or hormonal fluctuation.
