What could cause a false pregnancy test?

I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative, but I still feel some symptoms. What could possibly cause a false pregnancy test result? I'm quite anxious.

Expired kits or just checking the stick after it dried up can show a fake line. In my third trimester now, I wish I could get a false negative on how heavy I feel, haha! Try another brand tomorrow.

Maybe the test kit also has baby brain, haha! Evaporation lines or checking too late can easily trick you. Try a different brand to be sure.

Sometimes reading the test after 10 minutes shows an evaporation line that looks like a positive, haha! Or it could be an expired kit. Better buy a double pack and try again tomorrow morning.
