At my last visit the doctor mentioned my uterus is sitting high and i forgot to ask what it actually means. Now its been on my mind and im a bit worried if its normal. Has anyone been told the same thing?
Actually the uterus rises higher as pregnancy grows, thats normal. If your doctor used the word, ask them exactly what they meant for your case. They are the best to explain your specific report.
Better not to guess from internet on this one yaar. Just ask your gynac what high uterus means in your report, every case is different. They will tell you if anything needs watching.
My doctor measures the fundal height each visit, and a higher than expected uterus can just mean dates are slightly off or baby position. Sometimes they check for extra fluid or a bigger baby. Its nothing to panic about, the gynac interprets it with the scan.
