Scan report says cephalic and everyone around me is saying its a good thing but no one explained properly. Im 32 weeks. Can someone tell me what it actually means matlab head down?
My scan report also said cephalic position in my 8th month. My doctor just told me it means baby is head-down, and thankfully I went on to have a very smooth delivery.
It is the best news you can get on your ultrasound report! It simply means your sweet baby has turned head-down and is getting ready for birth. Don't worry, your body is doing exactly what it's supposed to do.
This simply means head-down, which is the standard position for a normal birth. If your report says cephalic, you're on the right track. Keep walking daily and stay active to help the baby settle deeper into the pelvis.
Cephalic position just means the baby is in a head-down position in your womb. This is the ideal and safest position for a normal delivery, so it's actually great news if your scan shows this!
When my mummy saw "cephalic" on my report, she was so happy and told me it means the baby is head-down and ready. It made everyone at home so relaxed and positive about the delivery.
Head-down is exactly what cephalic position means, which is the perfect posture for labor. Don't worry if you see this in your 7th or 8th month, the baby might still move around a bit, but head-down is exactly what we want. Keep active with safe walking!
