Got my first scan report and theres something written as CRL with a number next to it. The doctor just glanced and said baby is fine but didnt explain. Now im sitting at home googling. Can someone tell me what this actually measures?
CRL = crown rump length. The scan measures it to estimate ur due date in early weeks. There are even charts online but honestly let ur gynac read the report, they match it with everything.
I saw CRL on my early scan report too and googled it haha. Its the head to bottom length of baby, used to tell ur weeks. I was relieved once my doc explained it.
Its the crown-rump length, the size of the baby in the first trimester scan. They use it to date the pregnancy and check growth. Dont worry its a routine thing on the report.
CRL is crown rump length, basically the measurement of baby from head to bottom on the scan. My doc used it in early pregnancy to confirm how many weeks along I was. Very common term in the early scans.
