My doc gave me a due date in my first visit and I just nodded but didnt fully understand. Does the baby actually come exactly on that day? First pregnancy so all this is confusing for me.
Dont treat the due date as a deadline, both my kids came before it. It is just a rough guess from the scan and last period. Babies come when they are ready.
The due date is the estimated day your baby is expected, usually counted as 40 weeks from your last period. But its just an estimate, very few babies arrive exactly on it. Anytime around it is considered normal.
My due date came and went and the baby was like nope, not yet haha. So dont mark it in red and panic if nothing happens that day. It is just an estimate yaar.
