Im noticing more discharge than usual and im not sure if its the normal pregnancy type or something i should worry about. Im 9 weeks. Just trying to understand what looks normal vs not so i know when to call my gynac. If anyone can describe it pls do.
My gynac described normal pregnancy discharge as whitish or clear, thin to slightly milky, called leucorrhoea. She said if it turns green, grey, very thick like cottage cheese, smells bad, or has blood, then come in. Pictures online vary a lot so go by these signs instead.
Honestly comparing to pictures can confuse u more. Normal is milky white and odourless mostly. But if u see watery gush, bleeding, or it suddenly changes, please dont wait, that needs the doctor to check the same day.
I googled the same thing and honestly the pictures made me more anxious. Mine is just white and a bit more than before, did others have this increase too? My doc said its normal as long as no smell or itching, which calmed me down.
I can only share what I noticed, mine was thin, milky white and pretty mild smelling for most of the pregnancy. I wont post pictures but if urs looks like that its usually the normal type. Anything very different and I'd ask the doctor.
Increased white or clear discharge is completely normal, dont let the scary internet pictures worry you. Just watch for itching, foul smell, unusual colour or blood, those need a doctor. Otherwise its just your body doing its thing.
