What does pregnancy implantation bleeding look like?
I've read about implantation bleeding as an early sign of pregnancy, but I'm not sure how to differentiate it from a period. What exactly does pregnancy implantation bleeding look like? Is it lighter or a different color?
Implantation bleeding is usually just very light spotting, pinkish or light brown in color, and it doesn't flow like a period. It shouldn't have any clots. If you are tracking this, also make sure you are eating healthy, low-glycemic foods from the start of your journey.
I logged everything on my tracker app, and implantation bleeding usually happens 10-14 days after ovulation. It looks like light pink or brown discharge, barely enough to wet a panty liner. If it gets heavy or you have cramps, log it and contact your doc.
My mother told me that light spotting can happen when the baby attaches, and it is usually light pink or brownish. It is very different from period flow and lasts only a day or two. But if it is red or heavy, please consult your doctor immediately to be safe.
It's very light, mostly just spotting that is pink or brown, never bright red with clots. Since I had thyroid issues, I was advised to be very vigilant about any spotting and report it to my gynac. Do get a proper blood test done to confirm everything.
