I am not vomiting fully, just feeling uneasy after waking up and then again when I smell food. My mouth also tastes weird. Is this how it starts for everyone or should it be proper vomiting?
I kept feeling a sick churning feeling and worried if it was normal. Some mornings I gagged brushing teeth. Did you all also feel it more with smells? Made me feel less alone hearing others.
For me it felt like a constant queasiness in the stomach, like motion sickness that wouldnt go. I felt worse on empty stomach and certain smells made me gag instantly. Some days I just felt blah and off food completely.
Imagine a permanent hangover without the fun part haha. That queasy, off, dont-show-me-food feeling. It sounds bad but it really does pass for most, just ride the wave with crackers nearby.
Usually its mild to moderate queasiness with some vomiting. But if you are vomiting many times a day, cant keep fluids, losing weight or feel faint, thats not the normal kind, please see your gynac for that.
Mine was not just morning, it was all day honestly. Nausea, sometimes actual vomiting, total food aversion. Cooking smells were the worst. Eating small bits often and ginger water helped me cope a little.
Its like a wave of nausea that comes and goes, often with an empty stomach trigger. Some throw up, some just feel sick without vomiting. Both my pregnancies it eased by around 12-14 weeks.
