Kept seeing this word quickening in a pregnancy app and have no idea what it means exactly. Is it the first time you feel the baby move? im 17 weeks and still not sure if ive felt anything yet.

It's just the term for the first baby movements you feel. With my first I felt it later, around 20 weeks, and with my second much earlier. Don't worry if it's a bit late, every pregnancy is different.
Quickening is when you first feel the baby move, and I felt it around 19 weeks. It was the most magical little flutter, like tiny bubbles in my tummy. I cried happy tears that day honestly.
