My blood group came as B negative in my first report and doc just said we will keep an eye on it. honestly i didnt understand much in that 2 min talk. can someone explain in simple words what rh negative actually means for the baby?
Its a common thing and totally handled by doctors these days. The main thing is regular checkups and that one injection at the recommended time. Just follow your gynac and you will be fine.
Dont panic over the word negative. Lots of women are Rh negative and have healthy babies. Your gynac just monitors it and gives an injection if needed, thats it.
I am Rh negative so I learnt about this. My doctor explained it just means my blood doesnt have the Rh factor, and if baby is positive it can sometimes cause an issue. So they gave me an injection called anti-D at the right time. Its very manageable, just needs proper follow up.
Dont let the word negative scare you, it just describes your blood type. The doctors know exactly how to manage it. Just keep your appointments and take the injection when they advise.
