Got my reports and it says Rh positive. The doc just said its fine and moved on but i didnt fully get what it means for me and the baby. Can someone explain in simple words?
Rh positive just means your blood has that Rh factor, which is actually the common type. The thing they really watch is if mother is Rh negative and baby positive. If you are Rh positive, usually it is the simpler situation, but your gynac confirms with the blood group test.
My doctor explained Rh is part of your blood group like the plus or minus sign. Being Rh positive is generally not a worry on its own. The injection thing called anti D is mainly for Rh negative moms, she said, so positive moms relax a bit.
