Doc told me to take the tetanus shot at my last visit, im around 5 months now. I just took it without asking much but now im curious what its actually for. anyone knows?
I felt nervous before the injection but it was just a small prick honestly. The nurse said it protects baby too which made me feel good about it. Nothing to fear.
It's basically protection against tetanus for you and the baby, standard in every pregnancy here. I got it both times without any issue. Just take it when your doctor schedules it.
My doctor explained the tetanus shot protects both mother and baby from tetanus, especially around delivery. It's a routine part of antenatal care. She just gave it on the scheduled dates and noted it down.
