Saw vx written on my scan report and have no idea what it means. Didnt get a chance to ask the doctor properly that day. Has anyone seen this on their reports, what does it stand for?
These short codes on reports can mean different things depending on context, sometimes vertex position or a scan note. Honestly the safest is to ask the doctor or sonologist who wrote it. Dont guess from random meanings online.
On scan reports it often refers to vertex, meaning baby is head down, but it really depends where you saw it. I always just ask my gynac to explain any short forms on my report. They explain it in two minutes na.
I genuinely wont guess this one because report abbreviations can mean different things. Best to circle it and ask your doctor at the next visit. They will tell you exactly what it means for your case.
