My saas keeps giving me a bowl of dry fruits every morning but i dont know which ones are actually good for the baby. Im 14 weeks now. Which ones should i be eating daily?
My mother used to soak almonds and walnuts for me every single night. She said soaked ones are easier to digest and don't cause body heat. Dates are also great, especially in the later months.
Looking back, almonds and pistachios really helped me with my evening hunger pangs. Just don't overdo it, a handful a day is more than enough. They are great for baby's brain development.
I've been eating 4 almonds and 2 walnuts daily but I'm scared if I should eat figs or dates yet. I am in my 16th week. Are you girls eating dates now or is it too early?
I know there is so much conflicting advice online about dry fruits causing heat, it made me so anxious. But honestly, having a few soaked almonds and raisins daily is completely safe and actually healthy. Just take it easy.
Walnuts and almonds are excellent because of the healthy fats. I also ate a couple of prunes daily to keep my digestion smooth and avoid constipation. It really helped me post-delivery too.
