Plain water gets so boring and im trying to stay hydrated in this heat. Wondering what all fluids are good and safe to have, like juices, coconut water, etc. Pls share what u all drink daily.
I personally drank a lot of tender coconut water, fresh buttermilk (chaas), and plenty of plain water to stay hydrated. I found that avoiding packaged juices worked best for me because of the added sugar. Everyone's body is different, so see what keeps you feeling fresh!
No need to buy those expensive prenatal wellness drinks or fancy flavored waters. Just stick to normal boiled water, homemade barley water, and simple chaas which are super cheap and healthy. Save that money for your upcoming hospital delivery charges and baby vaccinations instead!
Arre, chaas piyo, nimbu paani piyo, aur coconut water toh daily peena hi hai, haan! Bas market wale canned juices mat lena, they have too much sugar, na. Keep it simple and homemade, your body will stay cool and nice.
Staying hydrated is key, but please consult your doctor about what is safe for you, especially if you have high blood pressure or swelling. I had complications during my third trimester, so my gynac specifically advised me to limit packaged drinks and gave me a daily fluid intake limit. Let your doctor guide you.
My absolute favorite was fresh sweet lime juice (mosambi) and salty aam panna when the cravings hit! Plain water felt so boring sometimes, so I spiced it up with mint and lemon. Just make sure you are enjoying what you drink and keeping the nausea away!
I remember how hard it was to even gulp down water because of the metallic taste in my mouth, it was so draining. Please don't be hard on yourself if you can't drink much; try small sips of ginger tea or lemon water. You are doing an amazing job taking care of your body and your baby!
