What food can increase baby weight during pregnancy?
Im 30 weeks and at last scan doc said baby ka weight is thoda on the lower side. Now Im a bit tensed and want to eat better, not junk but actual good stuff. What did u all eat that really helped?
This is such a helpful question, even I am planning to conceive soon and noting down all these tips. Does eating ghee really help or is it just an old myth? Following this thread to see what other moms suggest.
Trust me, don't stress too much over the weight scans right now. My baby was showing low weight in the 8th month, but after adding Makhana and sweet potato to my diet, he was born perfectly healthy and is now a super active toddler! Focus on eating clean, healthy food.
Same here, my doctor also told me to increase my baby's weight slightly in my recent scan. I started having a handful of soaked almonds and walnuts every morning. Are u also taking any protein powders, or just relying on ghar ka khana?
Paneer parathas and thick mango shakes were my absolute absolute favorite excuses to build baby weight! Jokes apart, protein-rich foods like chana, eggs, and greek yogurt are amazing and super delicious too. Enjoy your cravings but make them nutritious!
When I was staying at my mom's place, my nani used to make special dry fruit laddoos for me every week. Eating those along with fresh seasonal fruits and dahi really helped increase the baby's weight naturally. Having family around to feed you healthy meals is such a blessing.
When my baby was born a bit underweight, I felt so guilty. But then I started eating paneer, eggs, and dry fruits regularly as my doctor suggested. Seeing that weight chart go up slowly was such an emotional relief for me, u will also do great.
I had such bad vomiting till the 5th month that I couldn't eat anything and worried about baby weight constantly. Honestly, once the sickness settled, simple things like daily bananas, milk, and boiled eggs helped a lot. Just eat small portions, don't force yourself if you feel like throwing up.
