I am in my 20th week now and always worrying if my baby's heart is developing fine. I've been eating a lot of green veggies and dairy, but I still get so anxious before every scan. What all foods are u guys eating for this, please share!
Focus on foods rich in calcium, phosphorus, and Omega-3 fatty acids like walnuts, chia seeds, and green veggies. Your baby's heart needs these nutrients to develop properly. And of course, staying consistent with your prenatal vitamins is absolutely key.
Having PCOS made me extra careful about my pregnancy diet from day one. I regularly had walnuts, flaxseeds, and green leafy vegetables as advised by my clinical nutritionist. It's always a good idea to discuss a proper diet chart with your gynac to be safe.
My mom used to give me soaked almonds and walnuts every single morning for the baby's growth. She also made sure I had a bowl of green leafy veggies and a glass of milk daily. These simple, traditional foods are really good for the baby's overall development.
Look, there is no single magic food that will build the baby's heart. Just eat a healthy mix of dal, green veggies, milk products, and fruits. Most importantly, don't skip your daily folic acid and calcium tablets that your doctor gave u.
Personally, I just focused on eating a clean, balanced diet during my months. I made sure to include eggs, spinach, and plenty of dry fruits in my routine. I didn't follow any fancy diet, just stuck to simple home-cooked ghar ka khaana.
