First time pregnant, just entered 3rd month. honestly feeling lost about what all to add in my diet for the baby. would love if some experienced mommas share what worked for them.
Honestly, whatever stays down in the first trimester is good, haha! But later, try to eat high protein like eggs, paneer, and lots of fruits. Right now I am barely sleeping, but back then, coconut water was my absolute savior.
Having PCOS made me very careful about my pregnancy diet, so I focused on low-glycemic foods. I ate lots of leafy greens, sprouts, and whole grains, and avoided sugary sweets. Please work with your doctor to find a diet plan that suits your body type.
No need to buy expensive exotic foods like avocados or berries. Simple Indian food like khichdi, curd, apples, bananas, and green leafy vegetables are more than enough. Just keep it simple, hygienic, and home-cooked.
My MIL and mom made sure I ate soaked almonds every morning, and fresh seasonal fruits in the afternoon. They also gave me light dal-chawal and green veggies. Trust home-cooked ghar ka khana, it is the absolute best for baby.
