Just entered my second trimester and i really want to eat right for the baby. My MIL gives her advice but i wanted something more structured, like what to focus on as weeks go. How did you all plan your diet? Pls share what worked.
Ghar ka khana is the best, especially coconut water, soaked almonds, and homemade dahi. But if you have severe acidity or vomiting and can't eat anything, please check with your doctor instead of trying to force yourself.
I am also planning my pregnancy and reading up a lot on this! From what I understand, folic acid-rich foods like spinach are key in the first few weeks, and calcium is vital later. Hope we get to plan our pregnancy diet soon!
During my pregnancy, I focused on iron-rich foods like beetroot and spinach, and plenty of protein like dals and eggs. It really helped with my stamina and milk supply later on. Just eat fresh, home-cooked meals.
Haha, week-by-week diet plan sounds great in theory, but in reality, you will eat whatever doesn't make you throw up! Just try to eat dry fruits in the first trimester, lots of milk and paneer in the second, and don't stress too much about being perfect.
