Im in my first trimester and trying to eat healthier, want to add more fruits to my day. So many opinions around about what to eat and what to avoid that im a bit confused. Which fruits did u all find good and easy on the tummy?
Honestly I ate all the fruits and loved it, mango season was my weakness haha. Pomegranate and oranges were my staples. Just dont go crazy on mango and grapes daily because sugar, otherwise enjoy them all yaar.
You dont need expensive fancy fruits, the simple local ones do the job. Banana, papaya (ripe), apple, seasonal stuff from the local market is cheap and just as nutritious. I saved a lot just buying whatever was in season.
My amma made sure I ate pomegranate and apple daily for blood and strength. Seasonal fruits are always best, fresh and easy on the body. Just keep variety and dont eat one thing in excess, balance is everything.
Bananas, apples, oranges, pomegranate and seasonal fruits all worked great for me. Pomegranate especially for iron, and citrus for vitamin C. Just wash everything well and dont overdo the very sugary ones. Variety is the key.
Most fruits are wonderful, just watch the high sugar ones if your blood sugar is a concern. I leaned on apples, guava, pears and berries which are gentler on sugar. Pair fruit with a handful of nuts to keep things steady.
