I am currently in my second trimester and pomegranates have been my absolute favorite! Bananas also help me when I feel too tired. Are we supposed to avoid grapes too? I’ve heard mixed things and wanted to know if anyone else eats them.
Guavas, apples, and pears are fantastic because they have high fiber which helps with digestion. I used to eat a bowl of fresh fruits right before my daily walk, which my doctor had happily allowed. Staying active and eating fresh is the perfect combo.
I totally understand how much you want to give the absolute best nutrition to your little angel. Apples, pomegranates, and bananas are like pure blessings because they give so much energy and iron. Eat them with love, you are doing amazing mama.
Pomegranates, apples, and oranges are excellent during pregnancy. But since I had thyroid issues, my doctor kept a close eye on my diet, so I always asked her about fruit portions. Keep up with your regular doctor visits and follow-ups to make sure everything is perfect.
Bananas are amazing for cramps, and oranges give you great vitamin C and help absorb iron. Honestly, almost all fresh seasonal fruits are good, just avoid raw papaya and pineapple in the early months. Make sure you wash them very thoroughly before eating.
Oranges and sweet limes are wonderful for healing, which really helped me during my C-section recovery too. Eating fibrous fruits like apples and pears during pregnancy will keep your digestion smooth, which is a lifesaver later on.
