Just crossed 8 weeks with my first and honestly i dont know what all is going on inside. Some days i feel so much nausea and other days nothing. Curious what changes are happening now.
Two months was my worst for morning sickness, ugh. Smells made me run. If thats you, eat small frequent bites, keep biscuits by the bed, ginger water helped me a bit. It does ease up after the first trimester, hang in there yaar.
My doctor said around the 2 month mark (weeks 5-8ish) the baby's major organs and heart start forming and the heartbeat can be seen on scan. For mom, hormones are rising so nausea, fatigue and frequent urination are common. She stressed folic acid and the first scan around this time.
At 2 months I felt the symptoms hit properly, nausea, tiredness, sore breasts and so many bathroom trips. Emotionally I felt all over the place too. Inside, the baby is tiny but the heart is already beating, which honestly made me cry happy tears at my scan.
I remember 2 months being so tiring, I slept all the time and felt queasy. Did everyone feel this exhausted so early? You dont show yet but so much is happening inside. Your first scan around now is really exciting.
Month 2 is when most symptoms show up, nausea, fatigue, tender breasts, mood swings. Baby is forming organs, heartbeat starts. Book your first gynac visit and dating scan now if you havent. Rest as much as you can, this phase is heavy on energy.
