Just entered my 7th week and im so curious about whats going on inside right now. The nausea has kicked in properly this week. Would love to know what all happens at this stage from those who remember.
I'm in week 7 right now and so tired all the time, sleeping like crazy. Good to know its normal. Did you all get your first scan around now or wait a bit more?
This is a delicate early time na, so my family told me to rest and eat light warm food. Heartbeat usually shows around now on scan. Take your folic acid and follow what your doctor says, you'll be fine.
Ohh week 7 was peak nausea hell for me. If you're feeling sick all day, you're not alone. Small frequent bites, ginger, dry biscuits helped me get through. It does ease up after first trimester, hang in there.
Week 7 was when I heard the heartbeat on scan and I just teared up. I also felt super tired and nauseous around then. Baby is tiny like a blueberry but so much is happening, I felt overwhelmed in a good way.
My doc explained around week 7 the baby's major organs are forming and the heartbeat is usually visible on ultrasound. For mom, morning sickness and tender breasts peak around this time. She said this is a key developing phase so rest well.
