Hi everyone, completing 16 weeks this Sunday. My belly is just starting to show a little and im so excited. What can i expect around now, did u all start feeling any movement yet?
My doc said at 16 weeks baby's ears are in position and it can pick up some sounds. The anomaly scan usually gets booked between 18 to 20 weeks so she told me to keep that in mind. Also baby's been making facial movements.
At 16 weeks I felt the first tiny flutters and I literally cried, it felt so real finally. Not everyone feels it this early though so dont worry if you havent. The bump started peeking out for me around then.
This is a comfortable phase beta. Eat well, keep your iron and calcium going, and rest. If you havent felt kicks yet thats completely fine, it comes when it comes.
16 weeks baby is around the size of an avocado. You might start feeling movement, energy is usually good now. This is a good time to start sleeping on the side and getting comfy with pillows.
I'm just behind you at 14 weeks, so reading this is exciting. Did the flutters feel like gas in the beginning? Everyone keeps telling me I'll confuse the two haha.
