Im just entering my 18th week and feeling some flutters now and then, not sure if its the baby. Curious what all is happening inside at this stage. Mommies who crossed this week, how was it for u?
Im 18 weeks right now too! Around this time i started feeling these little flutters, like tiny bubbles. At first i wasnt sure if it was the baby but doc said yes its movement. Did others feel it around now too?
At 18 weeks baby is roughly the size of a bell pepper, and the anomaly scan usually happens around 18-20 weeks. My doc said this is when they check all the organs and you might even find out the gender if you want. Belly starts showing more now.
My app told me at 18 weeks baby can hear sounds now, so i started talking and playing soft music. Dont know how much science but it was fun. Also the anomaly scan is coming up, dont miss booking it.
For me 18 weeks was the turning point where the sickness finally backed off thank god. Appetite came back and i actually started enjoying food again. Hope yours eases too if you are still feeling it.
This was such a nice phase for me honestly. The early nausea was gone and i had more energy. You might notice the first kicks now, such a sweet feeling. Enjoy this stretch.
