I am going to complete 12 weeks and everyone says after this I may feel better. I have my scan soon and I am both excited and scared. What changes did you notice around this week?
My tracker app said baby was about the size of a lime at 12 weeks, so cute. It is the end of trimester one, a big step. The NT scan usually falls around now, keep that appointment. I started feeling human again after this week.
I just crossed 12 weeks and honestly felt a little relief, this is around when the risky early phase eases a bit. Baby is tiny but fully formed now, just growing. My nausea started settling too around here. Did anyone else feel better at 12 weeks?
Week 12 is a nice milestone, end of first trimester. Baby has all the main parts now and is just growing bigger. Usually this is when the NT scan happens too, so do your scheduled test. Energy slowly comes back after this for many.
Around 12 weeks my doctor explained the baby's organs are mostly formed and now it is growth and refining. This is the typical time for the first trimester screening scan. She said many women feel less nausea and more energy from here on.
