What happens if bleeding occurs during early pregnancy?
I saw a little spotting this morning and my heart just dropped. Im only 6 weeks and so scared something is wrong. Im calling my gynac today but couldnt stop myself from asking here, did this happen to anyone and turn out okay?
Note down how much it is, colour and whether there is pain, then call your gynac. Avoid heavy work and lifting till you speak to them. Dont take any medicine on your own. Early bleeding can be many things, only a scan and your doctor can tell properly.
My doctor explained that some light spotting can happen from implantation or just hormonal changes and may be harmless. But she was very clear that heavy bleeding, bleeding with cramps or pain, or clots needs an urgent visit because it could be something serious. So basically any bleeding, inform your doctor and let them decide.
This is close to my heart so I will say it gently, please get any early bleeding checked without delay. It is not always bad news, many have spotting and go on to healthy pregnancies. But your doctor needs to see you to be sure, dont go through the worry alone.
I felt so scared when I saw spotting in my first weeks, my heart just dropped. I rushed to my doctor and thankfully it was minor and baby was fine. What I learnt is dont panic but dont ignore either, get it checked so you have peace of mind.
Take a deep breath first. Spotting is not always dangerous, but right now the safest thing is to phone your doctor and tell them how much, what colour and if there is any pain. Let them guide you, and try to rest and stay off your feet till you reach them.
Please dont wait on this one. I had some bleeding early on and I called my doctor immediately, turned out fine but they wanted to scan and check. Light spotting can be normal but any bleeding in early pregnancy should be told to your gynac right away, dont judge it yourself.
