What happens if fasting blood sugar is high during pregnancy?
My fasting reading came a little on the higher side in my routine test and now im a bit tensed. Im 26 weeks. Has anyone here dealt with this, what did ur doc say and what changed for u? pls share.
High sugar is not something to take lightly, I would get it checked and managed right away. With the right care it is very manageable. Please go to your doctor and follow the plan fully.
My doc said high fasting sugar can mean gestational diabetes and it needs proper management to protect mom and baby. She told me diet, light activity and regular monitoring usually help, sometimes medicine if needed. The main thing is not to ignore it.
