Honestly im just confused and a little scared to ask my gynac directly. Im in my second trimester now and me and my husband arent sure if its safe or what to expect. Pls share ur experience yaar.
It's generally safe for uncomplicated pregnancies, both my doctor and the books I read confirmed that. Some mild cramping or spotting after can happen and is usually fine. But if your gynac has flagged any risk, follow their advice on this.
This is something I was shy to even ask about, so thank u for raising it. Good to know its usually safe. I'll keep in mind to check with the doctor if there are any complications. Helpful to read others being open about it.
In a normal healthy pregnancy its completely safe, the baby is well protected. U might just need to adjust positions as the belly grows. If u have bleeding, placenta issues or a history of complications, then ask your gynac if u should avoid it.
