What happens if we sleep right side during pregnancy?
Everyone says left side is best but i naturally keep turning to my right in sleep. Thoda tension ho raha hai ki kahi baby ko koi problem na ho. Is right side really bad or its okay sometimes?
Honestly, at this point, sleeping in any position is a victory! I used to start on my left side, roll to my right, and somehow wake up sitting up. Don't stress too much about left or right, just sleep wherever you can before the baby arrives and makes sleep a distant memory!
Beta, old people say to sleep only on the left side to keep digestion good and baby safe, but actually, the right side is also perfectly safe. If you feel any acidity, try having a glass of cold milk before sleeping. Just avoid sleeping flat on your back, rest on either side is fine.
Actually, right side is also totally safe, yaar. Left side is called the best for blood flow but honestly, staying on one side all night is practically impossible. Don't worry, just put a soft pillow under your belly or between your legs and sleep on whichever side feels comfortable.
Honestly, sleeping on either side is fine and doesn't affect your baby. Save your energy and money for actual things like baby clothes, diapers, and delivery packages rather than buying expensive custom pregnancy pillows just to force yourself to stay on the left. Just use a normal pillow between your knees, it works perfectly and costs nothing.
I know how it feels when you wake up on the 'wrong' side and panic, but please breathe, you are totally fine. Sleeping on the right side is absolutely safe and doesn't harm the baby at all. As long as you are comfortable and getting some sleep, that's what matters most for you and the baby.
While sleeping on either side is usually fine, my doctor was very strict about side sleeping because of my high-risk pregnancy. They told me left side is best for blood circulation, but definitely avoid sleeping on your back. Please have a quick word with your gynac to see what position is safest for your specific condition.
Listen to me, you don't need to stress over this at all. Right-side sleeping is completely safe and healthy, what you really need to avoid is sleeping flat on your back after the second trimester. Just get yourself comfortable with a few extra pillows and rest well, alright?
