These days i cry over the smallest things, hormones are all over the place. Today i had a proper cry after a fight at home and now im feeling guilty thinking it might affect the baby. does crying actually harm anything?
I totally understand, i cried over the silliest things when i was pregnant, even ads on tv. One good cry now and then is completely normal and wont harm your baby. Be gentle with yourself, the hormones are intense.
First, it is okay to feel everything you are feeling. A bit of crying is so normal in pregnancy. But i will gently say if the sadness feels constant or heavy, do open up to your doctor, i did and it helped me a lot.
Crying once in a while is fine, hormones make you emotional, its normal. A baby isnt harmed by a few tears. But if you are feeling low and crying very often and cant shake it, please talk to your doctor, that part matters.
My mother always said keep yourself calm and happy for the baby, but she also knew tears come naturally. Occasional crying is okay, just try to surround yourself with people who comfort you. If you feel low often, tell your doctor.
