My breasts feel so sore and heavy and look fuller than usual, started in the last few weeks. Im about 9 weeks now. Just want to understand what all changes happen through pregnancy, is this just the beginning?
They prepare for feeding, so you'll notice fullness, darker nipples and even a little leaking of colostrum in later months. Mine felt heavy and sensitive throughout. It's all your body getting ready to nurse, totally natural and nothing to worry about.
They get bigger, fuller and quite tender, especially early on. The nipples darken and you might see more veins, all totally normal and hormone driven. Get a couple of good comfy maternity bras, your size will keep changing.
I felt the soreness before I even knew I was pregnant, they were so tender. Then they grew quite a bit and the nipples got darker. It surprised me how much they changed, but it's all normal apparently.
