I had implants done few years back and now im 8 weeks pregnant. Honestly thoda worried about how they will change with all the growth and later with feeding. Anyone here been through this?
From what I read on my pregnancy tracker app, implants usually don't affect your baby's growth, but your breasts will enlarge due to milk production. This can stretch the skin around the implants. It's best to track your changes and discuss with your plastic surgeon or gynac.
Breasts will naturally enlarge as your body prepares for breastfeeding, which is a normal response. Just like I had to closely monitor my diet and lifestyle, you should monitor your comfort and keep your doctor updated on any changes.
Don't worry, your breasts will still grow and change naturally during pregnancy even with implants. I had mine before pregnancy, and my body handled it completely fine. Just wear supportive bras to prevent sagging later on.
Your body will go through its natural changes, and staying active with gentle walking can help keep you comfortable. Please make sure to check with your doctor about wearing highly supportive sports bras during pregnancy to handle the extra weight.
