I have pcos since years and somehow got pregnant naturally, still cant believe it honestly. Now im a bit worried what happens to it during these 9 months, does it cause problems or does it kind of settle down? Would love to hear from anyone who had pcos and a smooth pregnancy.
I have pcos too and honestly every body reacts different. For me periods stopping was a relief but doc kept closer watch on sugar and BP. Dont assume the worst, just go for ur checkups regularly na.
Yaar pcos sounds scary but so many of us with it have totally normal pregnancies. Just keep up the appointments and dont stress too much, ur doc will guide the rest.
Once you're pregnant the pcos kind of takes a backseat, the main thing is good monitoring. You'll be okay. Just be regular with the doctor and dont read too much random stuff online.
With pcos they usually monitor for things like gestational diabetes and BP a bit more carefully. Mine was managed fine but only because I didnt skip a single scan. Pls ask ur gynac to make a clear plan for you.
I conceived through IVF with pcos and I was so anxious in the start. The pregnancy itself can go smooth, the symptoms like irregular cycles dont matter once u r pregnant. Trust ur doctor and take it one scan at a time, sending u love.
My gynac explained that pcos women sometimes have slightly higher chances of GD and BP so they watch more. She put me on regular sugar checks early. Hormones settle a lot in pregnancy actually. Best is to tell ur doctor ur full pcos history upfront.
