Lately im feeling thoda weird pressure and ache down there, especially while walking. Someone said its the pelvis changing for delivery. Curious what actually happens inside, is this normal at 7 months?
Basically, your pelvis becomes a construction zone to make a highway for the baby, haha! It creaks and aches every time you move, but a warm compress and some rest really help.
Don't worry, dear, your body is just producing a hormone called relaxin which loosens your pelvic ligaments to prepare for childbirth. It's completely normal, just try using a pregnancy pillow between your knees when sleeping.
I'm in my 5th month and starting to feel this weird stretching pain in my lower pelvic area. Is this what they call pelvic expansion, and did others also feel this so early?
I can only share what I felt, but during my eighth month, it literally felt like my pelvic bones were separating when I tried to get out of bed. It was uncomfortable but went away completely after delivery.
I am in my 20th week and my lower back and hips feel so sore. Does pelvic pain get worse in the third trimester, and how are you guys managing the discomfort?
