There is no single magic hcg number for ectopic, it is more about how the level rises and what the scan shows. I had an ectopic and my doctor tracked my hcg over a few days along with scans. Please dont try to judge this from a number yourself, see your gynac urgently if worried.

My doctor explained that with ectopic the hcg often rises slower than expected and the scan doesnt show the pregnancy in the uterus. So it is the pattern plus ultrasound together, not one value. If you have pain or bleeding, that needs immediate medical attention.
