Im 28 weeks and after dinner i get this jalan in my chest going up to throat, never had this before pregnancy. People keep saying its heartburn but i wanna know how it actually feels for others. Is this the same thing?
For me, it felt like food was stuck in my throat and there was a constant sour, hot taste in my mouth. I used to feel it mostly after lunch. Eating very small meals instead of a big plate of food was the only thing that worked in my experience.
Heartburn feels like a sharp burn behind your chest bone, and it can be really exhausting. Even during my C-section recovery, I had to eat very light to avoid any gas or acid pressure on my stitches. Try to avoid eating right before sleeping to give your stomach time to digest.
It feels like a painful, sour burning behind your breastbone, almost like indigestion. I remember having it so badly in my third trimester that I could barely eat. Now that my baby is here and I am breastfeeding, that heartburn is completely gone, so hang in there, it is temporary!
Haan, chest me bohot tez jalan hoti hai, aisa lagta hai gale tak aag lag gayi hai na! Mere saath bhi third trimester me yahi haal tha. I completely stopped eating heavy, oily food at night and slept with my head elevated.
It's like a hot, acidic feeling that rises up from your stomach to your throat. Since I had thyroid issues, I was already on regular medication and always followed up with my doctor about any new symptoms. My gynac prescribed a safe antacid gel which helped me get through those burning nights.
Beta, it is the heat from the stomach rising up because of the growing baby. Do not drink water immediately after meals, and chew a piece of mishri or cardamom (elaichi) slowly. These traditional ways really help keep the digestive fire calm.
In my 3rd trimester, even breathing seems to trigger this fiery volcanic eruption in my chest! It literally feels like my stomach acid has moved permanently into my throat. At this point, I am 90% water and 10% pure heartburn, just counting down the days!
It's just a burning, sour feeling in your chest, very normal because pregnancy hormones relax the stomach valves. Don't let it worry you, sweetie. Try having small, frequent meals instead of heavy ones, and always remember I'm here if you need to talk.
It is basically like a fire breathing dragon inside your chest, haha! The worst part is when you crave spicy golgappe, but then pay the price with massive throat burning for the next three hours. I started having cold vanilla ice cream as a delicious cure!
Don't worry, it's just a burning throat caused by the baby pushing against your stomach. A simple and cheap solution is to drink a glass of cold milk or keep some fennel seeds (saunf) in your mouth. Also, avoid lying down flat immediately after your meals.
It feels like a burning sensation right in the middle of your chest and throat, especially after lying down. When I was at my parents' place, my mother would give me cold milk to sip slowly after dinner. It really helped soothe that heat, but do tell your doctor if it gets too uncomfortable.
Actually, it's like a weird fiery throat feeling, yaar, like you just ate spicy schezwan sauce even when you only had simple khichdi. It usually gets worse when you try to sleep at night. I had to prop up two pillows just to keep the acid down.
