I keep feeling like my mood and body are changing every few days since I found out. Some days I cry for small things, then suddenly I am fine, plus my skin and digestion also feel different. Is this all because of hormones or should I mention it to my gynac?
Mainly hCG, progesterone and estrogen shoot up. That's why u feel tired, moody, boobs sore, all of it. It's totally normal, body is just adjusting for the baby.
It is a lot na, the whole body changes. My amma kept saying eat well and rest, and my doctor said same. The hormones settle a bit after 3 months, you will feel more like yourself.
I used to google every symptom and panic, but most of it was just hormones. If something feels really off though, like bad headaches or dizziness, do mention to ur gynac just to be safe.
I felt so different in my first trimester, crying one min and hungry the next. My gynac said it's all hormones doing their thing. Honestly took me weeks to understand my own moods lol.
My doctor explained progesterone keeps the uterus relaxed so baby stays safe, and hCG is the one pregnancy tests detect. Estrogen helps baby grow and blood flow. She said the nausea and tiredness early on is basically these levels rising fast.
