I feel like im either eating nothing because of nausea or randomly snacking all day. Curious what a full day of eating looks like for you mommies. pls share your day on a plate, need some ideas for myself.
Honestly mine was 80% sensible food and 20% giving in to cravings haha. Roti sabzi, curd, fruits, and then sometimes a samosa because heart wants what it wants. Just keep the junk small and the real food big.
In my first trimester I could barely eat anything heavy, so I survived on small bland things like toast, banana and curd. Whatever stayed down was a win those days. Once the nausea eased I slowly added proper meals back.
I focused on protein, lots of dal, paneer, eggs, and a fruit with each snack. Drank plenty of water and went for a short walk after meals which my gynac okayed. Nothing fancy, just clean balanced and regular.
I kept it simple, dalia or eggs for breakfast, dal rice sabzi for lunch, fruit and nuts for snacks, light dinner. Small frequent meals helped my acidity a lot. Dont overthink it, balanced home food plus your supplements is enough.
My amma made sure I had idli, sambar, curd rice and a glass of milk daily. Lots of greens and seasonal fruit also. Simple home cooked food kept me well, but follow what your gynac says about your iron and calcium.
