My last scan showed baby is a little smaller than the week, doc said keep watching. Im 28 weeks and honestly cant stop worrying since then. Has anyone had a small baby on scan that caught up later? need some reassurance yaar.
My baby measured small at one scan and I was terrified, but the doctor monitored closely with growth scans and dopplers and guided my diet. Please dont panic and dont self treat, just follow the doctor's plan strictly. Many small babies catch up with proper care.
My gynac said sometimes its just a measurement or dating thing, and sometimes they look into nutrition or placenta. She added protein to my diet and scheduled repeat scans to track it. So it really depends on the cause, let the doctor investigate.
I totally understand the fear in your heart right now, I have been there too. Try to stay calm because stress doesnt help the baby. Trust your doctor and take your rest and food seriously, sending you so much strength.
