I just saw some blood and my heart sank, im around 10 weeks. Trying not to panic and im going to reach out to my gynac today. Just wanted to ask, what does it usually mean when bleeding happens, did it happen to anyone?
I know how frightening seeing blood is, my heart sinks even now thinking of it. Light spotting can sometimes be okay, but heavy bleeding or with cramps and pain needs the doctor immediately. Please call yours and dont sit alone with the worry.
First take a deep breath. Then call your doctor and tell exactly how much and what colour. Dont panic but dont ignore either. Bleeding always deserves a quick check, okay. Youre doing the right thing by asking.
My doctor told me to note the colour and amount, brown light spotting is less alarming than fresh red or heavy flow, and to call her regardless. She said bleeding has many causes in pregnancy, only she can tell after checking, so never ignore it.
My mind would jump to the worst seeing this, totally understand the fear. But the only thing that actually helps is calling the doctor and getting seen, not reading scary stuff online. Get checked and let them reassure you properly.
Please dont wait on this, any bleeding in pregnancy should be reported to your gynac straightaway. Sometimes its something minor, but it can also be serious, so let the doctor decide, not google. I bled once and getting checked fast gave me huge relief.
