Im a first time mom and still getting confused with all the trimester talk. I think im close to entering my third one but not fully sure what it means and when it starts. Can someone explain simply?
I felt every emotion in the third trimester, excited, huge, impatient. Its the last part, around the seventh month till birth. The kicks get strong and real, and suddenly it hits you that baby is coming soon. Such a special tiring time.
My app divides it as week 28 onwards till delivery. In this phase baby grows fast and you start counting kicks daily, and doctor visits become more frequent. Good time to finalise your delivery hospital and bag. Lots of milestones to track in these weeks.
Third trimester is the last stretch, from about week 28 till delivery. The bump is big, baby is putting on weight and you'll have more frequent check ups. Time to pack the hospital bag and rest when you can. Both times these last weeks felt the longest honestly.
I'm living it right now lol. Its the final 3 months, roughly week 28 to birth. Translation, you waddle, you pee every 20 mins, and you cant find a comfy sleeping position to save your life. But baby is almost here so worth it!
