My gynac mentioned i can do a 4d scan but i didnt really understand whats different from the normal one. Is it just to see the baby clearly or some medical reason also? Pls explain in simple words.
I was so nervous before my scans, thinking what if they find something wrong, my anxiety was through the roof. But a 4D scan is just a beautiful detailed ultrasound where you can see your baby's face and movements in real-time video. Seeing my little one yawn completely calmed my heart.
Don't worry at all, it's just a regular ultrasound but with better technology to show the baby's face and movements. It's totally safe for both of you. Just go there, relax, and enjoy watching your little one wiggle around!
It is a live-action video scan of your baby. I remember being so excited for mine after my evening walk! Just consult your doctor first to see if it's the right time for you to get it scheduled.
We got our 4D scan done at 26 weeks and it was the most magical thing ever! You can literally see the baby's expressions, mine was sucking her thumb. It's totally safe, just like a regular scan but with 3D video.
Because of my PCOS, I was always extra cautious about every single scan. The 4D scan is basically a 3-dimensional video of your baby inside the womb. It's not medically mandatory unless your doctor suggests it to check something, but it's lovely to see.
It is a beautiful technology that lets you see your little angel's face even before they are born. Keep your thoughts positive and happy, dear. Praying that your scan goes wonderfully well and brings you joy.
It's basically a detailed scan that shows live video of the baby's features and movements. Since I had a high-risk pregnancy, my doctor ordered specific scans to check the baby's development thoroughly. Definitely talk to your gynac to see if and when they recommend doing it.
My doctor explained that while a 3D scan shows still photos, a 4D scan creates a continuously updated video of the fetus. It is usually done between 26 and 30 weeks for the best facial details. It helps doctors check external developments like cleft lip if they suspect anything, but mostly parents do it for memories.
