I did a home pregnancy test and saw 'C' and 'T' lines, but I'm not entirely sure what they both represent. Can someone please explain what C and T mean on a pregnancy test stick?
Arre, simple hai! C matlab Control hota hai jo batata hai ki card kharab nahi hai, aur T matlab Test line hai. Agar dono lines dikhein toh samajh lo test positive hai, bas ek line aayi toh negative hai na.
I got so confused when my T line was very faint and started googling like crazy! C is the control line which must always show, and T is the test line. If you see even a shadow on T, please wait two days and test again to be completely sure.
Haha, I remember squinting at those lines at 5 AM! C is just the control line showing the test isn't broken, and T is the actual test line that tells you if you are pregnant. If T lights up, say goodbye to sleep for the next few years!
C line has to appear every time, otherwise the kit is faulty and you need to buy a new one. T line only appears when the pregnancy hormone is detected. Always check with first morning urine for the most accurate result.
C stands for 'Control' which proves the test kit is working properly, and T is the 'Test' line. My gynac explained that if only C is visible, it's negative. But if both C and T show lines, even if T is faint, it's a positive pregnancy.
