Got my first scan done and the report mentions CRL with some number next to it. I nodded along but didnt actually understand what it means. Can someone explain in simple words?
CRL is the head to rump measurement of the fetus, used early on to date the pregnancy. If you have any doubt about your report numbers, your gynac is the best person to explain them clearly to you.
It means crown rump length, the size of baby from top of head to the bottom. They measure it to confirm your weeks. I saw it on both my early scan reports, totally normal thing.
